We've gone to great lengths lately to avoid posting race news from anywhere other than Queensland. Unfortunately that tenacious little punk Patto somehow managed to slip this into my Inbox, thereby ruining everything.

82 riders made the trek to Toowoomba this weekend to compete in the QLD 4X State Championships. With numbers the highest ever turn out for a State Round in Australia, it was looking to be a great day. With 31 degree heat everyone was sweating it out. But there was one guy who didn’t look like the weather was bothering him. He was the one man everyone was watching in awe. The Rainbow Jersey of Jared Graves was carving up the track and was looking good for the win.

Firstly we must thank our Major Sponsors who have helped to put the event together and put up the prize money for Elite Men, so thank you Supersports, Ashgrove Cycles & Vizion Shopfitters.

With the National Champs being moved to South Australia for at least the next three years a new website has been launched to keep you abreast of all the info you need for this strange town halfway between nowhere.

REMEMBER it is only a couple of days before the tour down under where Cadel Evans and Lance Armstrong will both be making an appearance (and who knows maybe one/both might show up at the nationals) regardless accommodation will be tight so get your self sorted early!
