Qualifying has finished at Maribor World Cup today. In the wettest conditions it was Sam Hill who took the initiative going into Sunday's final. Sam took 1st place from team mate Brendan Fairclough with Greg Minnaar.

The Coffs Harbour Mountain Bike Club burst onto the enduro racing scene in 2009 with the Pleasure and Pain enduro. The event is back for 2010 and it promises to be better than last year! The totally awesome single track heaven in Coffs Harbour will host the race again with three distances available: 25km, 50km or the four lap mammoth 100km! Race day is Sunday August 8th 2010 with an event centre set up the preceding day with stacks of fun stuff on offer!
The trails have improved with even more flowing single track, more downhill treats, smoother berms, the same log crossings and the majestic beauty of the local forests. Last year’s entrants raved about the event and some claimed the venue to be “some of the best single track in Australia”. Why would you want to miss out on that! The defending 24 hour solo world champ Jason English didn’t mind lapping it up to victory last year! Enter now as entries are filling fast!

Peaty has lost his crown! Apparently the track was wet and sketchy. Peat crashed while he was 4.5 up on the previous split, leaving local Paulo Amarelo to clinch the title. That makes Paulo the only person to win a Lisbon Downtown other than Peaty.
The final round of this year's 4X and Dual Slalom State Series will be held at Mt Stromlo on Saturday, 15 May 2010 and you can get ready for an awesome gravity weekend with the third Downhill State Series round being run on the Sunday!
